Warner Bros transformed Liverpool City Centre into Gotham City for 4 days of filming in October 2020. This led to road closures and re-routing of pedestrians and major bus routes.
To keep disruption to a minimum and to keep public transport and traffic moving, Paramount deployed our CSAS accredited team to redirect traffic. We worked alongside Merseyside Police and Merseytravel, the public transport body for the Liverpool City Region.
We re-routed pedestrians around the large amount of plant machinery, redirected double decker buses so that they wouldn’t feature in the film’s background and provided Covid Marshalling services to prevent large crowds gathering to watch the filming. The work extended in to the evening to divert traffic during critical filming moments and to facilitate the arrival on scene of helicopters.
This work was carried out under extremely strict Covid measures implemented and monitored by Warner Bros., including remote log in and daily health screening.’
