One of Southport’s biggest summer events – and the largest event of its kind in the North West – the Southport Air Show runs for three days each July and draws an audience of thousands each year. Paramount headed up the stewarding and security operations across the weekend as it has done every year since 2015, and several times prior to that.
Paramount have been employed by Sefton Council for many years working mainly on the large outdoor events. They are a pleasure to deal with and are always helpful and flexible when needed. Helen Ford Events Officer
The event was centred around three main events across the three days: flying displays, which followed a comprehensive flying programme of military jets, helicopters, vintage and aerobic aircraft. Military displays took place, including static displays by branches of the British Armed Forces and there were plenty of additional displays and entertainment across the weekend.
Paramount managed crowd control for the event, as well as assisting the emergency services and the security services, and providing guidance and stewardship for visiting members of the public.
